Whoo. Finally done. My second digital painting! And my second out of my Jackson family series! Check it out in my gallery! OMG, I don't think I'll ever do a black and white one again.. SO HARD. And yes, I purposely chose a picture without hair, cause I haven't practiced how to do hair yet . Took 5-6 hours. Tell me what you think!

Very nice try. BW may be tricky, but in order to learn how to deal with it, I'd advise you to practice traditional drawing. I do not know why, but for me it was easier to decide how to shade and where to put light and shadow using just a hard (3H-H) sharp pencil.
It seems to me, that you blur a lot. To create a shape you should not hide your mistakes with blur tool, but to "sculpture" it.
I hope it would be helpful.
