Hi,

After a few year silence I have decided to come back to Deviantart. For the past week, I've been looking trough some random groups, and I have noticed that a lot of people have left this place, as I did, so a lot of groups have been abandoned and it's nearly impossible to get featured on them or even get in to them. So that got me an idea, to make a new group, specifically for photographers who are still here and are active. I will make some more specific rules for posting in the group gallery soon, but for now, the main rules are:
* Upload only your best shot, before you upload here, check the galleries and give your artwork a critic look, and ask yourself 2 questions: Does it fit in these galleries? is it good enough?
* Upload to the right categories, more about the categories:
- 'Featured', here will be exposed only the best of all categories, so you, first will need to put your photo in the other categories and it will be chosen afterwards, if it deserves to be featured.
- 'Nature', here you can upload basically any landscape, waterscape, sky-scape photo, where is only nature, only exceptions may be, bridges and there may be few people in the photo as long as they are not the main object of the photo. That basically means, no photos with buildings, no extensive amount of people or vehicles, just pure nature.
- 'People', here fits photos with people as the main object, so all kind of portraits and that kind of stuff.
- 'Macro', Insects, bugs and any close-up photography.
- 'City and Architecture', photos which include buildings and other man made objects.
- 'Documentary and Journalism', storytelling photo's, preferably with some story written with the photo as well.
- 'Uncategorised', in this category, for now, we can just put the photo's which don't fit in any other categories, so we can see which popular categories we are missing.
* Current upload limit for the members is 1 photo per day in each category.
