Nicely done. I don't know much about technique, but I know what I like and the woman in question is very beautiful! I especially like how you captured her eye and hair here. She reminds me of a B movie sci fiactress in the 70's named Caroline Munro. I like the serious look on her face. Kind of makes you wonder if she has a story to tell. I wouldn't mind seeing more of this model in the future. I wouldn't mind seeing her with a brighter background for a better picture but I think you chose a darker background to capture the shadows on her face.
Overall, this is a very effective piece of work!

Initially this piece seems very drab, mostly due to the background color sucking the light out of the shot. Upon further observation, however, one can notice all of the subtle uniqueness hidden within. The model's hair and outfit give us a sense of story, as if she has had an extremely hard day at work. Look deeper, at the line of her lapel, and it seems that maybe she's not clothed underneath, and that maybe this isn't her jacket afterall. Perhaps she was rescued from the Mean Streets of...wherever. The dark red may be an underground tunnel of sorts. Her stare could signify that she has been lost for some time. Overall, with all of these little bits of detail, it's as if we have a National Geographic cover from The Concrete Jungle, the impact of which lies in her beautiful face and that stare that can burn right through you. Simply falling in love with this piece as I type. Love it!

Such a serious look. I'm always amazed but the extreme looks one person can give. Nice lighting and though you think there may be something negitive about the background, I like it. The image is thrust forward by it.

...totally agree with the critique above.Β initially this was one of those pictures that was getting the "Remove From Messages" click quickly and without regard.Β but something caught my eye about both the gaze and the lighting.Β both are exquisite.Β at first, i thought the background too boring, but after trying to decide which background would have worked "better", i came to the conclusion that this one was the ideal and the picture simply works - it just takes the time to recognize that all the pieces are here and everything fits wonderfully.
...so to that end, i say, EXCELLENT work...
