Friendly Internet Robot Mosobot64 back again, folks! Y'know, I was always hoping that someone would play on the moniker "The Dark Knight" for the Batman, and *PhotoshopIsMyKung-Fu has finally done it with this awesome portrait.
Though I'm sure this isn't the only time someone has played with this theme, Kung-Fu has done a great job incorporating the knight's armour with the costume, making it very true to the character. In doing so, however, the costume elements sometimes mess with the armour, making some of the logical connection points and joints uncertain.
Lighting however, is very consistent and understated, and the character of the piece comes out well using Kung-fu's imaginative use of costume design integration.

You're right.Β It's not the only time this theme has been used.Β I've seen it done where the artist depicted the Batmobile as a dragon.
