Beautiful capture !!
How is the 8mm samyang ? do you like it ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

photoshoptalent In reply to inner-light [2012-02-04 13:55:07 +0000 UTC]

For the cheap price its the best you can get for your money.....

But soon i will change this lens to an Sigma 8-16 mm

inner-light In reply to photoshoptalent [2012-02-04 14:52:55 +0000 UTC]

I see.
Why would you prefer a fish-eye over an ultra-wide agle lens ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

photoshoptalent In reply to inner-light [2012-02-04 17:29:06 +0000 UTC]

Sometimes i really like the curved line a Fisheye produces.

And because of the price its simpy easy to remove the fisheeye effect with Ptlens if you want

now I have the money to buy i good UWA - lens and if i have one i only will use the Sammy 8mm for some special shot´s

this is great! the texture is so lush and interesting and you made the orange pop but not too much (I so need a good camera!)

Thanks for your nice Comment.
No you don´t need a good Camera for a picture like this
The cheapest camera is enough if it has an Auto Bracketing Mode the rest is a lot of work in Photoshop.

Did you use a filter?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

photoshoptalent In reply to skaname [2010-11-14 18:49:41 +0000 UTC]

Of course!!!
Some Intern PS Filters and some Nik Filters
But keep in mind always to only add them selectively to your original Image.

Damn your amazing! great work. I realy like watching this one! the detail is amazing. Great work put into this one i think. Love the tonemapping.
What software did you use? The samyang 8mm seems to be amazing. but it dont notice much effect from the fisheye? How did you get that fisheye effect out of there?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

photoshoptalent In reply to tristt [2010-11-12 19:18:26 +0000 UTC]

I use PS to create a 32bit Radiance .hdr - File from my different Exposures
This real 32bit HDR File i´ve tonemapped with Oloneo the best Tool for natural Tonemapping yet
And than saved the resulting LDR-File as a 16bit Tiff file which i send back to PS for final adjustments.

How i get rid of the Fisheye Effekt ?

Simply Easy by Cropping the original Image
The orinal Image i Start with was much bigger !!

Hope all your questions are answered now if not ask again !!

tristt In reply to photoshoptalent [2010-11-12 20:57:57 +0000 UTC]

it's strange since your line's seem to go just like a normal or wide angle lens. amazing realy

That oloneo seems a great thing for tonemapping. Gonna give it a go myself

Thanks for the info. The detail of the field is just amazing. Strange that the lens did not make it a bit of a blur.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

photoshoptalent In reply to tristt [2010-11-12 21:32:32 +0000 UTC]

It does a little bit of blur but here´s the time for Detailreconstruction in PS.

But the lens have a really big problem with Chromatic Abberation´s if you dont remove this in Camera Raw before your HDR- Process it´s a big mess.
