Source code for generating this image . Language is Processing. Most of the code is devoted to calculating the dimensions and coordinates for each of the triangles in the diagram. I could have used squares, and the algorithm would have been a lot simpler (I wouldn't need to use π or the sine function for starters), but it would also look quite a bit more lame.
