Yeah I understand and this is for Charity at my workplace so It's a non-profit one time deal. We are having a car show and raising money for "Retreiving Freedom Inc" and I am in Iowa. I am wondering if that guy owns rights to yourΒ image or is your work copywrighted?

He only owns the artwork. Technically, it's copyrighted as soon as it's " affixed to a medium ".Β The only version I have of it is what's posted here. I don't know if the file would be correct for what you would need.

Ohh i see so he bought your original? I thought pretty much any image you put out on the web is public but I want to repect your work. I think the file is fine but we may not use it since it is not entirely up to me. If you give me permission I'd assure you get one of the shirts though? haha well I think your art is cool so maybe i'll just make it my screen saver

Yeah, he wanted me to draw something like Rat Fink & that's what I drew. Well, actually, there's nothing stopping you from using it, but I appreciate you asking. I did talk to the guy today and he said it was alright. It's fine with me too, but, yeah, I dunno if the image here will work for your needs. If you do use it, my only request is that you keep my name on it.
