Description
This guy is Moroff from the, as of this posting, upcoming Star Wars flick, " Rogue One: A Star Wars Story ". I know nothing about him except what the action figure package told me. He's a mercenary who likes his guns big. His species is called a gigoran. He wears some sort of thingie over where his mouth should be... my guess is that it's either a breathing apparatus or a translator. There's a teeny bit of footage of him being filmed running. He's like the modern day wampa... well, he looks kinda like one anyway. It's highly possible that he'll only have like a millisecond of screen time in the movie like Sarco Plank and Goss Toowers from " The Force Awakens ". We'll hafta see. Maybe I'll even remember to post an update after Dec. 16th.

Moroff is not going to be one of the Boys of Corus, but there is going to be a Gigoran, nicknamed "Silky" because his presence is a reference to Gossamer. Now you know, and knowing is half the Mandatory Educational Content Segment™.

I wonder if they made these films with "hidden characters" in mind? Because I NEED to know who and what these characters and species are and I think the authors are aware of that need. IF only the Star Trek propagators had the same passion.

It's hard to say. I've since found out that Moroff was originally supposed to be a rebel named Senna, who may have been, at one point, one of the main group. There as some pretty major re-working to the movie so, I dunno when they decided to just make him a background dude in Saw's gang. I wish they showed him use his rifle. I'm sorta thinking he may have taken up too much screen time... even though he's really cool.

Oh... he's called a gigoran, so I guess it's a different race from wampas. They don't say a whole lot about them on Wookipedia yet.

Also apparently these guys weren't created for the movie they actually were obscure aliens mentioned only once I think they were created for the old table top rpg.
