G'l-Rakh wondered who Shae thought was controlling this TelePresence Module; she probably thought it was Krall. But G'l-Rakh had to watch this carefully - there might only be seconds to evaluate the situation and decide how to proceed.

What was running through Shae's mind? Faced with the eminent reversion to her Kroton form, by now as alien as this human form must have seemed weeks ago, and add to that an almost certain life of tortuous hell once they reached the home planet; one could only imagine the dread.

Shae's reaction to Khehn's condescending tone was good, Khehn had been convincing. But just how angry was Shae?

They would get their answer soon enough; once the conversion was complete the primal roar, now by Sjchay, was likely heard outside the dome and no doubt gave some twisted joy to Tor-Gahl and Krall. Watching Sjchay focus that anger on Khehn's TPM and slam it against the wall was enough to convince G'l-Rakh. They would take Sjchay into their circle.

G'l-Rakh maneuvered the TPM to face Sjchay and uttered the one word that would alter all their futures.
