Well, here's my second galaxy in a large format - It's also the second comet with a technique I'm perfecting
Basically just practice, and was bored enough to submit just to show off the comet really (and the galaxy too mustn't forget that one)

All the individual elements apart from the planet have their layers in this piece - so that makes up 76 layers O.o

awesome man, youre really getting better at those comets. a few things tho, just to be pick. first, you have a few layer lines around the galaxy. looks to be overlay layers for color maybe, or its the layer with the warped fractal, but i see two blue ones and one red. the blue on the right and left of the layer and the red is on the bottom. just a heads up.
and your stars need work. the planet looks really good, the comet looks very very good, the galaxy looks awesome, lighting you got down. your weakness IMO is you star scape's. there needs to be wayyyyyyyyyyy less of them and they need to be sharper. it looks like a layer of noise that has been blurred. i would have maybe 10% of the amount you have now. other than that its looks fucking bad ass tho, nice work dude! D

With the stars - do you mean the ambient ones or the galaxy ones - I didn't have the starfield I made on the weekend on this computer so that's why the background stars are kinda sucky haha I shall be updating those tonight though

Awesome art... just to let you know its guys like you drawing these fantasy style thingies that keep me going on my Si-Fi fantasy story thingie i got going on lol nice job alot of your pictures are based off of certain points of my story.

That'd be awesome, i have a few of my buddie's doing some work on the series but nothing to big is popping up lol, i'll keep it in mind though so far im the one doing titles an stuff like that we only have a black backround or some kind of symbol in the back but one of your art as a replacement would mean alot.
I'm gonna talk with the rest of the staff most likely it'll have to be one of the planet's would have to look or "nearly" look like the one all the "Main" characters of the story are currently on. (It's not earth lol in the series earth is a burning heap of darkness

Not bad but the galaxy could use a bit of refinement. Interesting comet though, I also really like the way the red light falls on the planet.
