I know it's not what most people follow me for, but it shouldn't come as a complete surprise either.
I like sail boats.
I've been playing around with Freecad more and more and it's really gotten to the point that you can do stuff with it.
This is a work in progress. I'll be adding stuff as I go.

This was modeled using the Freecad V0.18 Daily Build, but V0.17 ( www.freecadweb.org/ ) is the current stable version. I don't see a difference.
Yes, it will crash from time to time, but so does Solidworks (which will cost you 4000-5000 USD).

So go check it out. Kick the tires. just save and save often.
