I also gave half of them (I couldn't finish all of them back then) to my friends & teachers in school last year
I still had the photo before I gave them away: i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb… So far I only finished Phantasia, Eternia, Symphonia, Abyss, Innocence & Knight of Ratatosk. Right now, I'm playing Tales of Legendia (Chapter 3) =3= After that, I think I will play Tales of Destiny PSX (borrowed from my cousin)
I really want to play Vesperia & Graces (PS3) , but Namco didn't release them in English
Note:
1. I used their Original name, for example: Genis Sage in ENG, but Genius Sage in JAP

Why is only the maincharacter and her sidekick in the Xillia section? (BEcause no, Milla is the main character >.<)

Jude is actually classed as the Main ~ Main Protagonist Character as he gets wounded up from Medic. School to Millas problems.
Milla is obviously classed as the main because the story centres around her situations.
But the Creation staff said "the main character Jude Mathis meets the secondary main Milla Maxwell....."

Well let's face it, he's outfit does look rather...feminine...it looks like a half-dress with a onesy underneath. I admit his artes are amazing and I would use a dualblade the same way he does, but the choice of clothing was...terrible...but not as bad as Asbel's. His knight uniform is a pretty big joke...

It isn't rare for males to dress in dress-like clothing, much less is it effeminate in any way. Long-coated robes are very common dress, especially for nobles.

True enough, I guess. But as a Lieutenant in the Military? A little less than desired since you'd need mobility in the battlefield and those clothing are rather...you know...

Armor like that is actually worse for the one wearing it since they'll heavily weigh themselves down in the process. Longer outfits like Hubert's are a lot easier to move around in, not to mention being lightweight.

Yeah I agree with your thought on Huberts clothing. But I don't like the clothes becus he has long boots* and his clothes look like that of overalls. I like Asbels knight clothing... but he is awesome with Yuris outfit!!

That I agree, but I prefer Asbel in Leon's outfit. But I do wish Hubert could tone down the dress looks just a bit, even though his Modern Youth clothes speaks a different story.

Yeah I like Asbel in Leon's clothes too. For some reason it reminds me more of Roys outfit from Fire Emblem than Leon XD
I like Hubert in School clothes. His glasses are gone then. He has decent clothing on too.
I find him so cute as a child, during the personality change I just don't like his face(glasses)anymore.
I don't know as a child he looks so clean but when you finish a battle when he is older its like he got dry lips...

I had Eternia (gave my cousin) Abyss (Ps2 and 3DS) and Legendia (Lost them, aswell as my GC Symphonia T_T but I got PS3 Symphonia)

Its okay. For once I wish the Tales Of games were of the same artwork/gameplay graphics because when I play them they feel like to whole completely different unrelated games. Especially the 'seriousity' of the games.
Graces f was fun and a nice flowing comedic story where Xillia is too serious and the artwork is to different in gameplay and character styles.
I understand Symphonia as it is over ten years old. Symphonia: Dawn of the New World and Graces f were similarin art.
The release date for Graces f was a year before Xillia meaning when:
They released Graces in 2008, they were updating it for a PS3 version ~ Graces f
which was at the same time of the development of Xillia!!

Wow that is quite a research data. I only know that the fact of using different art, graphics and gameplay differently. Honestly, the first Tales game I witnessed was my brother playing Abyss in the PS2. Then again Legendia. And so when I noticed the nice little Vesperia for xBox, I bought it and LOVED it. So I played the other games my brother ditched to really understand about the series. But I could tell the battling system was different each time. Symphonia 1 was a flex-linear motion battle system so it was 3D but could only move front and back depending on the enemy sight. On the other hand, Abyss was open battle system where you can free run for better tactic senses. Graces f and Xillia was MUCH more complicated in battling system since they use AP instead of free strikes and TP easily, but battles are slightly easier since the screen movements could be adjusted clearly to our desires. And Xillia was kind of a killjoy since it was easy due to the generosity of stronger weapons as long as you properly level up and gives them all an easier chance to find weaknesses with no help from Magic Lenses and strong attack powers due to linking and special capabilities.
But I must ask you a little question. If you could change your own class like in Radiant World Mythology, what would you choose?

Yes I've noticed all that. Loved Vesperia and Graces f as they have been developed at the same time. Like when I play Phantasia (so old) and Abyss on my 3DS (because I tired of switching PS2 to PS3) I'm like I wanna die 1D and 2D kill me.
I understand graphical problems within previous games but that this part of the game industry revolution as they were nearly broke with some of the games ~ Like the change in Symphonia and Symphonia
Yes I hate when all the Linear Motion Battle , Free Battle run ~ change its horrible to get used to especially if you're switching games. Yeah, I agree with your statement on Xillia.
If I could change my class I would choose Ninja (just because of personal interests, I love ninjas). Maybe a Magic Knight? I always find them really strong as they can use Physical and Magical Artes. Or a Bishop attack artes and healing artes (we know AI characters are useless unless you tell them a strategy like Graces f)

Making them see the Amarcias a different race in graces f was a nice touch since they hardly use that kind of material. Different races; all the time. Normal humans but has advanced technology in their side; fresh and acceptable. I've just played Symphonia Dawn of a New World and saw MANY new features. Free run, new unison, monster pacts and different style cooking was likable, but sucks that we couldn't get the bonuses from eating anymore and the game is fairly harder since we only have 2 to 3 assets at a time. And they make you go with the flow and not even notice you were sadly under-leveled (barely beat the Garuda and Ventus) and lack necessary things. I know it will get easier in time, and it is refreshing to see them change it a bit but it could've been a little less challenging to beginners.

Yeah, complete agreement. So you just got Symphonia Chronicles recently (within like now and last month).
I just hate how the facial structure (3D) of Xillia and Zestiria are the same and completely different to that of like classical bestsellers like Vesperia,Graces f, Symphonia (we know this is old, exception). And the Free run, story adventure run (post battle) is too zoomed in on Xillia, where Graces f, Vesperia was zoomed out, and I like it better like that.
Plus every Tales was rated T/12 but now Xillia and Xillia 2 T+/16.
Yeah I know Symphonia DotNW has Free run, new unison and all, but I don't like the fact Emil has the body of an amnesiac and is a spirit, copying the body of a younger Aster, wants to regain Ratatoskrs power. I'm sure you were even a little confused, but I got it a while later.

Wow wow wow don't spoil. I'm still trying to search Lloyd in Flanoir. I got it last month but was so busy I had to take some time off of Dawn of New World after finishing the first one. But it sucks that you can't Unison like the first one...Prism Star was the bomb, but it was funny when they used it on Tenebrae about the "Four Sighs" XD

Sorry, I thought you were an experienced player in the Tales games on Ps3 and atleast have an idea on what happens in the story on every story you get. But I was wrong, I am sorry. I thought maybe you heard of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World for wii like 6 years ago.

I did, but I don't have a Wii. At least, not anymore. And I wasn't into the Tales games back then so I guess it was a bit unnerving. But at least I know about 37% of them all so far.

Actually based on most fans, they say Abyss is better than some of the other games. And the story wasn't all that long, but the most creative by far seeing not many games can pull off the cloning factor, but they make fomicry sound so easy.
