I was asked my Stan/Kyle headcanons on tumblr and since I have, like, a million of them I just drew and wrote out three of the very silly ideas that I have about them. OTL I don't have the patience to write fanfiction, so that's why I'll never write it haha. It's probably for the best anyway, considering how stupid these are lmao.

01. Kyle threatens to cut off his hair because he thinks he looks stupid. Stan loves Kyle's hair, so Stan pisses him off by growing a mustache in response to his threat lol. And he keeps flaunting it, and Kyle just keeps getting really annoyed. Finally at the end, Kyle's all OMG YOU KNOW WHAT I DIDN'T WANT TO SAY THIS BUT YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR DAD, STAN OKAY and then Stan's like WHAT WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO BEFORE and freaks out, then immediately shaves it off, haha. Then some sappy stuff happens where Stan's all ~*I don't think your hair looks stupid*~ and other crap like that. Anyway, this all comes down to the fact that in my head Kyle, who is not conventionally good looking, has some crazy self-image issues and Stan, who is conventionally good looking, doesn't want him to feel that way.

02. Self-explanatory? I have way too many library headcanons of them. Anyway, I feel like everyone would rip on Stan for being whipped, but really he just likes doing shit for Kyle because he means a lot to him. Stan means a lot to Kyle too, but sometimes, I think that Kyle gets so caught up in whatever he's doing that he doesn't always grasp the full extent of everything Stan does for him. Stan's into the romantics. Kyle not so much?

03. One time, Kyle's on facebook and sees a picture of his cousin Kyle in the exact same sweatervest that he's wearing and so he totally overreacts and decides to completely reinvent his image with escalating degrees of stupidity. He probably also consults Cartman on this issue and Cartman comes up with charts of several new looks for him to try, complete with swatches and shit. And meanwhile, Stan's like, "Dude, it's FINE." And he's nose-bridge pinching and headdesking the whole way through, until finally Stan, like, goes to Kyle's cousin Kyle's house, and somehow convinces him to buy a new wardrobe (probably by playing to some politically-incorrect stereotypes and mentioning a sale somewhere) and BLAH BLAH THE END.

I could write much more on these two because I've creepily over-thought a lot of things concerning them, but long story short, I think Stan and Kyle have an interesting chemistry in that Kyle is complete reactionary and volatile, and Stan is much more chill and neutral (sometimes to a fault?) They cancel each other's negative traits out. They're usually on the same page in regards to all the ridiculous things that happen to them, but if one of them strays—Kyle with his overzealousness, Stan with his oversensitivity—the other reels them back to reality. I think that Stan would do anything for Kyle. I want to say that Kyle would do anything for Stan too, but he's slow to realize sometimes when Stan really does need help.
