I haven't posted this until now, because it is an almost exact copy of work by other artists, used without permission.

At the time I drew this, I was not intending to publish it. I was merely developing my skills. In fact, this is my very first complete color pencil drawing. (There's more to the story. If you're interested, my first journal talks about that link )

This is an altered copy of Cramming byt the Brothers Hildebrandt

Now that I'm getting into photography, I'm getting ideas to follow in the general style of the brothers, which is to make composites from photographs, and make drawings from it (kind of like fantasy photomanipulation, but with traditional methods and using my own work as a reference).

That being said, I'm putting this up as documentation of a part of my development, and fully give credit to the original artists for the concept. I'll gladly take it down if it doesn't fall under fair usage for study.

Ok, now that the disclaimer is out of the way, the changes on the book covers are because I was going to be a music student at the time. This was about 17 years ago.
