Not the best photo?? This is an amazing shot. I really love this one.
phykia In reply to Miarath [2008-08-15 19:48:11 +0000 UTC]
lol... I wanted to get a better shot of his wrinkly feet. It works for now. I'm sure I'll upload another as I'm a horrible perfectionist. Thank you so much, I am glad you enjoy my work.

I do, I do -- oh, and I featured this one in my journal for it fits perfectly together with the other two. It's absolutely adorable.

Wow! You are too kind.
Miarath In reply to phykia [2008-08-15 20:05:24 +0000 UTC]
It's a pleasure. I find his feet lovely.
phykia In reply to Miarath [2008-08-15 20:12:02 +0000 UTC]
hehe.. I'll have to try to find more ways to incorporate his feet into more photos.

Hmm, yes this is a great idea. Love this kind of macro pictures -- this one was a macro picture, wasn't it?
phykia In reply to Miarath [2008-08-15 20:18:18 +0000 UTC]
lol... no, not quite a macro. A macro would need to be smaller or of a smaller subject. Like his nose for example... that's a good example of a macro photo.
Miarath In reply to phykia [2008-08-15 20:22:20 +0000 UTC]
Hmm, not exactly if that's true what I've read recently in the news here. A macro needs the picture to be at least twice as big as the original size or so. But I don't care if it's is or not, it's a lovely picture.
phykia In reply to Miarath [2008-08-15 20:31:45 +0000 UTC]
lol... There are quite a few resources out there as far as macro goes. The main resource that I always end up going to is here: [link] It states that a subject should not be more than 2 cm. and his feet are just a tad bigger. Anyway, now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

How about closeup on his feet's rosy claws or the hair around it?
phykia In reply to Miarath [2008-08-15 20:49:45 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, it's an idea. I'll have to wait for him to be asleep, that way I can move him as I please.

I'm excited to see the results.
