how much shit would have been avoided if after WW2:
Jews were given Germans land between Holland and Denmark as a homeland
Tel aviv and some of the (pre- 1933 Jewish owned) land turned into a Jewish city state (10 to 15 % "holy land" max)
Jerusalem became an independent entity (think Vatican but multicultural)
and the west compensated the Palestinians by forgiving their national and foreign debt

because if we invent time-travel and for some reason the furthest back we can travel is januari 1946 i would be pushing for the above solution
and also giving technology, oil reserve locations, bbc docs (about every decade in 20th century) and war-criminal shitlists to the right people so:

B: the west could De-colonize the rest of the world voluntarily
C: AIDS, natural+human disasters and other horrible crap could just be side-stepped by planning
