Though a life of leisure in the sea sounds good, able to visit any tropical paradise whe wants, far from the worries of the human world... I think she would miss things like... her boyfriend? her family?

Let me tell you her story: She got converted into a mermaid while sleeping (by villains), the villains kidnap her and throw her overboard tied to an anchor, she escapes and is found in the beach by Ron, they both try to find a way to restore her humanity, they can't, they strike a bargain with a villain (whom basically gives Kim the "Ariel bargain" she gives Kim 72 hours as human to get a true love kiss (from Ron) to restore her to human permanently but erases her memory, Ron tries to make her fall in love, almost succeeds, they are sabotaged by a blackmailed Bonnie (if she doesn't make sure Kim stays a mermaid, she stays an octopus), the third day sunset arrives, Ron can't kiss her on time, she recovers her memories, but is dragged to the sea by Octo-bonnie as proof that she is still mermaid and out of combat for the villains. Then Kim escapes.... : [link]

But I'm curious; what inspired you to go for a mermaid Kim Possible theme?

Well, it is kinda funny how the idea came to me at first. And quite simple, I should add. You see... I was doing my homework at my University. I was bored in the library, so instead of doing what I should have been doing, I started to remember the series "Saban's Adventures of the Little mermaid" and my mind drifted to how Kim would look like in Marina's (the main protagonist) body. Back then I thought the concept of the Disney Mermaid, was a bit silly, with that tail that looked like a fish eating and swallowing a woman... and the transparent fins. So I started doodling and doodling and I didn't like how Kim came out. Then I thought: What if I go for a mermaid concept that is unique and reflects Kim's personality?
I wrote down the three most prominent personality characteristics of Kim: intelligence, unstoppable and loving temperament, then I tried to match her with a suitable marine form. The orca (intelligent, unstoppable and noble) was the obvious choice.
Besides... Kim looks great in white (Battle suit) and Black (The little black dress) So, why not having both?

Actually no. When she gets transformed into a real orca is in a dream sequence. She is afraid that her induced mutation goes out of control and engulfs her, eventually, transforming her into a full-fledged killer whale.

Sip, pobre joven mujer. Forever ruptura del Pantalone. Che! ¡Que se me acaba de prender el foco con la historia de la Kimmie! Wade si hizo una pócima repiernizadora, pero lo que ves aquí no es lo que aparenta. Luego que tenga completa la historia te la hago llegar en prevista exclusiva, jejeje
Y ciertamente, Kim salvó su ropita interior, no porque ella lo haya querido, sino que la transformación sigue la lógica biológica para crear una cauda:
En lugar de empezar por los pies, empieza pegando la cara interna de los muslos, disolviendo la piel que los separa para que las fibras musculares de piernas separadas se mezclen entre sí. Al mismo tiempo, se le desmoronan y se desvanecen los huesos de los pies, pantorillas y muslos, mientras el coxis crece y le aumentan las vértebras. Por cada vértebra extra que surge desde el coxis, la interfaz donde se fusionan sus piernas, va bajando, arrastrando con ella todo a su paso. En el caso del pantalón, el tejido era muy rígido y los rompió, en el caso de su ropita interior, por ser mas suave elástica y quedar, coincidentemente siempre en contacto con la interfaz transformativa, va bajando hasta alcanzar sus pies, que para entonces ya están aplanados, deshuesados, grandes y cartilaginosos, próximos a fusionarse en cauda cetácea. Así Kim quedó con su ropa abajo.
Caso contrario, si empezamos de abajo hacia arriba, el cuerpo se vería enfrentado con un obstáculo infranqueable para completar la transformación, justo a la altura de la zona del perineo, quedando la ropa interior atorada dentro del cuerpo de Kim. No hay forma de que se rompa, quedaría como un encapsulado o bien como una cuerda sobresaliéndole.
Por lo menos es así como lo veo.

Poor girl, not only sad and frustrated because she would never be human again, but also because of the humiliation of having her clothes thorn apart by her morphing legs and her bikini ending up -tightly- on her fluke.
I will make a pic of her, happier, later.

My favorite part about it is that her underwear ended up somehow by her feet. That alone is worth the price of admission (and since it's free, that's even better!)

You think so? I was actually aiming to do something really sad. I achieved my goal then. Don't you remember when Ariel turned into a mermaid again? She was just like a "Oh, sorry I just got a tail again".
Here, with Kim we have a deeper, more enduring sadness, combined with humiliation and heartbreak, for a girl whom is usually strong, witty, and beautiful hearted.
