You can extract your sketch or linework just like in photoshop too, just saying.
Useful to those who don't have other image editing program like photoshop.

Would you be able to make a tutorial on changing the color of the outlines? Like shown in the last picture? I've tried adding a layer and setting it to overlay, but that doesn't do what I want it to.Β

After extracting the lineart correctly, you can just clip another layer on top and fill it with colour to change the lineart colour.

how did you change the color the very last pannel

Select the layer with your lineart on it.
Above the New Layer button, you'll find a box with "Preserve Opacity" written beside it. Click it.
Now you can change the color of the lines by painting directly on it.
Just remember to uncheck the Preserve Opacity box if you want to add lines on your lineart layer.

sometimes when doing digital lineart, an artist saves the file that merges all the layers into one. Β so when you reopen the sketch and try to color or draw underneath the lines, it doesnt work. Β Anything underneath the layer is hidden. Β This happens to scanned work as well. Β You cant go over the white part of the drawing.Β
This tutorial shows you how to color/draw underneath the lines when this happens. Β or "extract linework". Β
