Warden Commander Helena Cousland
I love the tarot cards in DA:I and thought I might try my hand at making one of my Lady Cousland (it's been ages since I've done any proper artwork of her ;A; ).
I wanted to portray her with a sense of strength and independance as she has aged since DAO and is currently on her own quest (I also thought she'd change her hair a bit by sweeping back her fringe xD; )

Yeah, most of the work went into the pencil drawing really. I wanted to give it that old-ish, fantasy type feel, so colouring it over the scan really worked well

I love the way you detailed the armor,and the surrounding color choice.
This reminds me a lot of the old style tarots,with how soft tone it is.

Thank you for the lovely comment ^_^! My Cousland has quite a strong but gentle nature, so I tried using and applying colours in a way that would reflect her character.
