Second part to I've got some chores to do"It's been more then a few hours." Peyo stated plainly, head softly leaning against Stigle's arm.
"I know Peyo." Stigle stared at the door, waiting for the moment the door would open and everything would be fine.
"Do you think she's okay?"
"I'm sure she just fell asleep... She's been doing all our chores for the past few weeks. She's probably passed out somewhere." That's what it had to be. What else could have happened?
"..." Copy was silent, leaning against their big sibling, a soft sniffle coming from their nose as they curled a little tighter. Stigle hugged their littlest sibling close, even as snot dribbled down their nose and dripped runnily. They felt warm.
"It'll be okay, we'll go look for mom in a few minutes." Stigle tried to reassure with a strong smile, leaning against them a little.
"But mom told us to keep the door closed and locked." Stigle stated, although... His tone was weak. Not really a defense, but a fact.
"It'll be fine. We never had to lock the doors before- mom's just acting weird." Stigle waved a claw softly, smiling at Peyo. He didn't look convinced... But he shrugged.
He wanted to see where mom was too. Besides- it's not like anything bad was happening outside! Mom was just acting funny. Being overprotective.
It'll be fine.
