"Your old bicycle’s still here, you know. Dusty. Faded. The flowerbeds Mother used to be so proud of have been overrun by weeds. Everything’s quiet.

Sometimes, I sit on the cracked pavement outside and wonder where you are.

Are you happy there?

You’d always been the sun. So bright. I remember growing up in your shadow; you, the centre of our world. Then you left, and everything fell away. If I’d only tried to bring you back. Maybe we wouldn’t be here. Waiting.

Your old bicycle’s still here, you know.

I think I’ll clean it up.

Thought the thing kind of fitted Madoka Magica (in particular Homura, or, thanks to Movie 3, Homucifer)
