Evidently, the young boy had kept to studying, playing the piano and volunteering to play at nursing homes during the weekends - obviously, away from his father and brothers. Though it made him drift farther from them, it made him happy - though did not help in easing his weakening self-esteem.

But it had certainly become a spectacle to see as the untouched china teapot burst into porcelain shards without as much as a single brush of a finger, the sound working as a harmony to the small protesting shout from Frederick.

The following week had not improved, to say the least, with lightbulbs blowing up after a snarky remark from the eldest brother, or the neighbour’s basketball exploding while Frederick watched them play from his home’s terrace. Needless to say, his parents had an inkling of what was about to happen, and were needless to say, correct.

At the age of 11, one single, clean letter arrived at their home, and a plethora of emotions and reactions to this single letter had filled the home on the day. Though Frederick only worried about one main thing: he’d have to leave his mother (though not entirely, he was still dependent on her). Though she did not doubt that he’ll survive, she was painfully aware of Frederick’s own self-confidence. Frederick’s brothers, on the other hand, displayed a sort of envy towards his luck, however his father was a different issue. His father, aware of such implications it could bring the young child; reluctant and slightly distrustful. Clearly, the issue of ‘magic’ was not a normal one in the household - often being raised through mention of politics and conflict. His father merely worried.

However, his mother saw it as a way for Frederick to gain a sense of independence, and insisted that he ‘gave it a try’. With a heavy heart, Frederick accepted.

The appearance of Hogwarts was a complete surprise to the young boy - the changes he had to face were frightening and concerning. He mostly kept to himself throughout the years, with a few study buddies here and there and an occasional almost-friend lingering throughout the years. (But let’s be honest, he only has two friends: his cat and a considerably younger student.)

Stance on the threat of the muggle world: Frederick views the issue of the muggle world as evident in the lives of witches and wizards, however views that there are prominent threats from both sides. However his opinion on the rising conflict is often in a gray area - as he cannot find it in himself to choose a side. He is understanding of the threat which the magical world is worried to face, however he worries for those in the muggle realm - such as his own family, for instance.
