So my plan was for this to be WAY more polished, like with lineart that looked good and actual shading. Unfortunately though, I just don't have the juice to do all that right now. That's also why they're cut off at the arms. It was easier to do that than the proper half-bodies I had originally planned.

You'd think that, after owning Cola for five years and just drawing her very recently, I would know her design by heart, right? Well, I still managed to forget half of her accessories until I was already colouring lol. Forgot the bracelets, which I swear I do every goddamn time I draw her, and the band aid(s). Luckily, since I'd long since committed to a sloppier drawing and those are fairly simple details anyway, it wasn't too much work to slap them on there. I think in my defence about the bracelets at least, I did originally have these two flipped, with Cola on the right, so her left hand, which does not have bracelets, would've been showing. I ended up flipping them around to balance out some things with the rest of the drawing, which worked out because Toccata's hair is way easier to draw from this side. Speaking of Toccata, she was fairly simple once I didn't have to draw the rest of her body or shade her hair LMAO

Sanit and Peggy are always a delight. Sanit's hand looks weird without Peggy's body beneath it but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. Really, all the hands with this pair look worse the longer you look at them. So uh. Stop looking. Their faces look pretty cute overall I think; maybe Sanit's a little more so. Peggy originally had a red hair tie to match her shirt but I hated it so I changed it back to the purple. Speaking of her hair, not sure if I did the greatest job with the placement of her other pompom. The colour looks better than it used to though, now that I've given her more of a proper skunk stripe type thing there. I guess I did that a while ago but never rly addressed it so here is me acknowledging that. It is sad to have drawings of Sanit where you can't see his dumb turquoise skinny jeans that I love so much, but you can still see that he's wearing a t-shirt of his girlfriend's band like the angel he is. Love these two so much they are so special to me.

Hunter, man....Hunter. So I've never really been properly satisfied with Hunter's design. I've always felt like he looked the shittiest out of all my characters, mainly the hair. I've been trying to make that hair look better for so long...feel like I screwed up here considering the perspective and it doesn't rly look great haha whoops! Still worth it to play around with his design. I also gave him a little more beard and changed his tattoo. That was a last minute thing but it had to be done. The original tattoo I gave him waaaaaaay back in his earliest forms was a knife. With the evolution of his character though, that stopped suiting him. So I changed it to a dumbbell. That fit his character more, since he obviously works out, but it's also an extremely stupid thing to get a tattoo of, and I really didn't want to draw it on him with his arm That visible. I toyed around with giving him a microphone tattoo maybe but that was gonna be too complicated for me to do at this time. So I poked around and decided that this safety pin would be perfect. It's very simple and maybe not drawn the best here, but it's SUCH an upgrade holy shit. I have less to say about Adam lmao he looks much the same as he did the last time I drew him, which was forever ago. I'm not happy with his arm because he's actually supposed to be kind of buff as well--maybe not as buff as Hunter, whose arm turned out great, but I didn't give him enough muscle for my taste. I actually switched shirt styles between the two...Adam was going to be wearing a tank top but then Hunter's arm looked so good I didn't want to hide it with a t-shirt so I gave him a tank top, and I didn't want them both wearing tank tops...so...sleeves for Adam. My favourite thing about these two is the colours though. I have a file containing palettes for my OCs, but Adam isn't included in it because, y'know, I've only drawn him like 3 times before now and he's really a side character without a proper reference or introduction sheet or anything. So while I can pull his hair and skin tones from previous drawings, I don't really have any outfit colours to pick for him. I ended up picking that coral-orange colour kind of randomly after finishing Hunter's colours, and it looks SO good with Hunter's blue I'm actually excited about it which is so lame but I don't care. These two are cute af.

Jade and Rajata round out the group. They are the reason I flipped Cola and Toccata. Originally, these two were also on opposite sides, but I flipped them because I realized that the two height-difference ships--Peggit and Rajade--both had the taller person on the left and it made the whole thing look unbalanced. Then I had to flip either the boys or the kemonomimis so I would have an equal ratio of like. which way their heads were turned? If you know what I mean? Having the chin up on the left side on two and the right side on the other two? I wasn't going to flip the boys because drawing Hunter's hair from the other side would have been a Fucking Nightmare, so that's the story behind the flipping of the furries. ANYWAY. Rajata's face isn't great in profile; her nose kind of disappears behind the glasses so she looks weird and I need to stop doing it but it was necessary here unfortunately. So her face isn't great. Her shirt wrinkles are kinda weird too. Overall, not my best drawing of her. Jade looks mostly okay. Chin's kinda weird and I'm not sure about the shirt colour. The thing with Jade is, she's very hard to dress. I usually default to black because that looks good on her, but it doesn't suit her personality at all...you'd think red would suit her but it doesn't. Green and yellow look fine except they then blend into her hair and wings. Can't win with this gal. I think the blue looks okay, if not amazing, and they're still a sweet pair. I guess on the whole I just wish I could've made this whole thing look better. I really did have high hopes for it. But sadly I am only an eel.
