The scenario for this infobox was inspired and requested by Chase2002 , where Jason Aldean dies in the 2017 Las Vegas shooting. The POD (point of divergence) here is that rather than running off the stage after telling the audience to duck for cover, Aldean actually stays and tries to help the audience members, a decision that costs him his life as Aldean is hit by several stray bullets while rushing a fan and her daughter to safety, later dying of his wounds in the hospital. "They Don't Know" (2016) is Aldean's final studio album in this timeline due to his death.
