Thanks! The spots did take quite a chunk of time with a fine detail brush, but I enjoyed it. I might choose a slightly less detailed Paca to sculpt next time, though.

How much would you charge for something like this?

I would probably need to do some interest- and price checks before setting up shop. These are a little time-consuming, so I’m currently thinking around $20 + shipping for simple designs. Prices would increase depending on complexity.

Oh wow that's so cheap! I'm working to get a new job for the summer so I'll be in touch. Your sculptures are stunning!

I figure I should start out low and build a customer base. I'll post a journal if/when I open up commissions later this summer. Best of luck with the job search!

Are you planning on ever doing comms for these?

Thank you so much!

I am considering it. I’ve never sold physical goods before, so I’d need to figure out the logistics. I’ll post a journal if/when I decide to open comms. ^^

YAYYY!!!!!!!! I use super sculpt, acrylic paint, and a super sculpttu varnish, what varnish do you use!

I use Martha Stewart Crafts High Gloss Finish. I picked it up at Michael’s a while back on sale. It dries quickly and doesn’t seem to get sticky over time.

How do you like the Super Sculpey varnish?

It works well! Drys quickly and doesn't get sticky but if you put too much on it sometimes strips the paint Dx
