If you follow my work for some time you know that I'm a die-hard Ghibli/Miyazaki fan. His work is probably my greatest influence. the recent news about Studio Ghibli shutting down weighted heavily on my heart.Thankfully, as far as I've read, they're just taking a break for a while. ^^
Here's my tribute to Hayao Miyazaki and the wonderful world he created. May his legacy inspire a lot of other artists as it inspires me.

All of these doodles are amazing, I love this one. It has so much character and life in it, and it really captures what you're going for as a tribute to Studio Ghibli.

If you like Miyazaki's movies, you should try playing Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (for PS3). I actually like it better than the films of his I've seen.

all the Miyazaki films, eek. What's your favorite? I like spirited away but that's obvious, erm Howl and Totoro are great for binges and so is Mononoke. Although Princess M is a little less family oriented. Ashitaka is adorable though. ❤

Ah,cara,realmente o Studio Ghibli e o Miyazaki influenciaram/influenciam muitos(as) artistas ao longo do tempo,e marcaram/marcam suas vidas.(A minha também,diga-se de passagem.Seus trabalhos estão entre os meus favoritos no mundo da animação,e toda vez que um trabalho do estúdio concorre a algum prêmio fico torcendo!)E espero que,não importa o que aconteça,o Studio Ghibli possa nos encantar com seus trabalhos por muito,muito tempo.
Não sei se já comentei sobre esse trabalho antes,mas independentemente disso,deixo aqui minha opinião.

This is fantastic I love this. How you do all've the characters are AMAZING like how you drawed them. And I can name each one of them! I think this is the best thing I've ever seen from art. Your a top notch artist! I should try and call the craters and say: "come see this drawing its friken incredible" if I was one of the craters I would promot you! Or if you didn't want to do it that's ok. I wanna name all of them.you did a fantastic job on this.

Wow, simply stunning. I had seen some of your other work passed around the internet, but this is the first time I've been able to check out who made it. Your artwork is so beautifully shaded and intricate, I don't know how you get all those individual lines in there. And the characters look exactly right, down to the very last detail, you capture them so well. Plus your bold contrast of black and white is to die for! Wonderful work, I'm so glad I was finally able to find you on deviantart, your art is truly inspiring.

Fantastic composition and lining! Nice incorporating of all the iconic Ghibli characters. I really think Miyazaki's work will last generations and generations, even if Studio Ghibli shuts down (which I really hope it doesn't!).
