I've just realized another metaphor for these flowers... They only exist because Sun is there (you know, in the literal way, by photosynthesis) and so does Icarus' feelings. All them : anxious, lonely, overthinker, love are in his mind because of her, because she made them grow. It's not all her fault, of course, but with her "help" they are stronger now...
