The Dhole (Cuon alpinus)Is a species of canid native to Southeast Asia (To read more en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhole
The picture was taken at Parken Zoo Eskilstuna in Sweden With a With a Nikon D800 and a Nikon 70-200mm lens F2,8
This is the Biggest and strongest Dhole of the pack in Parken Zoo on of the the zoo keeper told me rules the pack with iron fist
All comments are welcome pls tell me what you think is good and bad so i can get better next time i take a picture of a Dhole

The contrast in colour is fantastic and the depth of field is spot on and I love the fact you can really see the individual hairs on his body.
I love the fact the ground is also in focus so he doesn't get lost in the picture. Maybe needs a touch more focus on his face to get those eyes to really grab your attention when you first look at the picture, maybe a bit of contrast enhancement on the computer? Although I love his ears.

About the focus your right and why it became like that is because the picture if very heavily cropped so the quality of the picture is not 100% :/
You think is should do even more contrast hmm i will have that in mind for sure

I really like dholes and this shot is lovely. Very foxy red. I used to take pictures of the pair at the Toronto Zoo but then they had to close off the asian animal section for the pandas. Dholes are certainly under-appreciated!

Beautiful animal! If I stare at him long enough I can almost turn him into a Cat! Excellent photograph...I assume it was taken through glass, which I know can make it a bit tricky.

This boy is absolutely stunning. I agree with the Critique by Tally, the only thing I would have liked to see a tad more in focus is his eyes but it's such a minor thing next to how in focus the rest of the photo is. His colors are so vibrant, it's no wonder he is the Alpha.
