Very pretty, and good compositional decision. It makes the portrait all the more striking, and places a lot of emphasis on the eye as if the lynx is looking right through you. Actually, it reminds me a bit of Frans Lanting's work. He sometimes makes similar intriguing cut-in-half headshots. Great pic!
