This picture was taken at Parken Zoo Eskilstuna in Sweden With a Nikon D700 and a Nikon 70-200 F 2.8 Lens
The picture was taken through glass....
I have many pictures of the cheetah and i for some reason cant get it right... This is the best picture i have of one....
Pls give me advice on how i can do it better because i know i can
but i just dont get it right If you like pictures of Wolves; Lynx; foxes, Wolverines and other wildlife and have the time please visit my gallery and tell me what you think their is a good chance you find something you like

For some reason, I am in love with this cheetah. It's got such pretty markings on its head and legs. The position here and the background is remarkable, you did excellently! And the colors are very rich. (: Good work.

It's a nice shot Pali. I love the low angle and composition here. Great timing to get her on the log too.
You also seem to be able to capture their eyes really well. Whenever i've tried it's so hard!
Just a comment, but I think the contrast levels on your recent shots seem a bit high to me. Not sure

Are you sure its the contrast and not shadows i have darken the picture very much but i will take a look at it again i always in photoshop

I think it's a mixture of contrast and black levels. It appears to look better in the full view though :/

better than the picture i got at the Indianapolis Zoo
had to wait 10 min. and still couldn't get a good photo because there were so many people.... it was right on the other side of the glass too
anyway great job one of te best ive seen in a long time

you would think that with it having been open since 1964 they would have wolves, they didn't even open the cheetah exhibit until 2 years ago

actually its a very nice place i just dont understand why they dont have wolves, but i think its only a matter of time.the gorilla exhibit opens in about 6 months

Oh man the claws on that thing. You know the picture is taken in high quality when you can see in detail just how it could tear you to shreds O_O It stands out very nicely, almost unnatural when not in full view. Very pretty, almost looks like you can reach out and pet his chest to feel how soft it is.
