Description

(I wasn't actually waiting for a friend, I was on a solo photography wander that day and thought this would be a good title) There is an amazing little coffee shop in Vernon, British Columbia named the Bean Scene! It's got a super rustic/antique/well-loved vibe that seems to go SO WELL with the downtown atmosphere. It also has 2 floors! The lower floor is generally pretty loud and fun, with lots of old wood flooring and heavy wooden tables tht -almost- make it seem like you've walked into an old tavern (they aren't actually heavy wood, they just look it) and there is a ton of different styles of chairs throughout the store!

When you go upstairs with your drink (the steps are old too, I find it easier to walk up them using the railing as a help so I don't spill my drinks) you come out into a quieter and even more amazing sitting area! This was taken beside the windows (neat view of the theatre across the street) in one of the few chair pairs in the building that I've seen so far. The blue chair contrasts well with the overall vibe of the shop I think with it's lots of browns and golds.

The couch in the background looks kind of like one you'd find in an old fashioned therapists office, and to the right was a square table with almost matching chairs!

And behind me...heheh, that chair is EPIC. I'll show you in a little while once I get the editing right in the photo~~!
