*sigh....* Oh, boy.... Let me explain. A few days ago I was watching one of those WatchMojo.com videos on YouTube and this ones theme was top animated music videos. Some of the songs were ones I'd listen to before while others got me interested to look them up. One of these songs listed was called Feel Good Inc. From a band called Gorillaz. A band that I have heard of but add never been interested in until now. My curiousity got the better of me and I decided to look up the video for Feel Good Inc .....And I liked and went to see more of their videos and did some researching on them, got to know the characters and I've never been the same ever since...
So as a result I wanted to make my very first fan-art of them. And probably not the last either.... How ever for this piece I wanted to do something a little different. 90% of this picture is hand painted with watercolor and textured with color pencil. The background itself was also painted by hand on a separate sheet of paper. Then the two images were inserted in together and I used some digital techniques for lighting and bruising. I'm quite happy with how it turned out, even though Russel looks kinda squished in there. Like I said I'm not great at drawing big characters but I try to get him right next time. Any how, hope you guys like it. I had a lot of fun working on it and I hope to make more soon.

P.S~My favorite band member so far is 2-D.
