I absolutely love the mood that this piece gives off. It seems almost dreamlike with the misty, glazed looking light coming in through the broken windows. It inspires a sort of magical feeling despite the old, decaying nature of the focus. It makes me feel almost child-like looking at it, when I was little I would have loved to have found a place like this to turn it into a fort or some secret hide out. It really is amazing when a piece can inspire that need for wonder in someone. Not only this, but another resounding theme that juts out at me is the need to return to nature. Here, this abandoned car has already taken on the earthy tones of the forest around it, decaying with age and giving back to what it once was a part of. Just goes to show that no matter how out of place something is, abandoned or not, life will run it's natural course. This is a very inspiring piece and the only improvements I could offer is, if you digitally edit your pieces, I would just slightly decrease the glare from the windows in the back of the car. It makes the middle focal point a bit blurry and so I find my eye wandering to different parts of the piece. It would be nice if the back of the car was just a little more defined and 'sharp' to make it really pop.
