Description ... By Its Preview.

Can you tell I'm avoiding doing something else? Yeah, that's the only reason I'd make a stamp right now.

Full credit to ~ralamantis for creating the emoticon I used a frame from.

Feel free to use, comment, favorite, or any combo of the three.

Edit: Am annoyed by the new stamp size limitations. Since I didn't want to edit the actual stamp I got rid of the shadow.

Yes. Lots of my deviations looks really ugly and "jpg-ised" in their previews, but they look much better full-viewed.

I agree. That's why I write massively long descriptions in my artist's comments.

Oh, fudge-buckets! Thank you for making this stamp! I thought of making one, but was kinda lazy and didn't know if I'd get flamed for it or not, then I saw this in someone's journal.

It's one of those paranoias that you don't actually witness, but are aware of, and don't know how often people are doing it.

So do I. It's not like it's hard to click that "Full View" button to appreciate the art as it was meant to be seen. But so few people do it, really.

Sorry for the late reply, I was out of town. I almost died from 'net withdrawls.

Finally! The perfect stamp
I have had so many comments on my fractals about distortion but they were never fullviewed. Once in fullview, all problems disappeared! FULLVIEW is ALWAYS a MUST!!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

piekid In reply to r4v1 [2007-04-16 18:54:54 +0000 UTC]

Yes! When you go to a museum you don't stand on the other side of the room from the paintings and such. No, you get close, you look carefully. It's just one more click, two extra seconds and you get the art as the artist intended. People who don't get that shouldn't even bother to look and definitely shouldn't comment! You have a great gallery too! I often wish I could do fractal art.

I'm glad you like the stamp! Thanks for the !

This is awesome! and so true too. I've seen previews that looked like photographs only to find out that the person drew it. If I ever scrape together the cash for a sub, I'll definitely add it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

piekid In reply to Pawnshopheart00 [2007-04-11 19:43:14 +0000 UTC]

Yes! Exactly the sort of thing I was thinking. Though there have also been times where I thought the preview looked interesting but the actual thing kinda wasn't. It's odd.
