1st panel of installation piece for "14 happenings" exhibition@ out-of-the-blue art gallery, cambridge, MA.

inspired by friend's traumatic childhood story.

Comment to this should be not "Eh, kids..." but "Eh parents...".
Not always what you think is good is good to others, also, not very healthy either.
I prefer vegetables.

in my friend's story, her father actually even started knocking
underneath the table if her eating pace slowed, saying that the
decrepit old woman was on her way up from the basement
and was knocking -- trying to get in !
and i myself prefer noodles, breads and other starchy carbs.

Prose? No darlin'--that was for REAL. My mom was a HORRIBLE cook! And my dad had HIS moments He cooked a cornish hen in the microwave once--it was gold brown but when he cut it--the inside was all but DUST. Although--hmmm--I could probably write it for THIS pic (I could never make my writings personal--rather, use personal experience or emotions--which explains why my writings LACK significant emotional reflections or intimacies. Or why I can only write those things for the real people I write about.)
