I've always found pupil-less characters hard to draw since you can nEVER TELL WHERE THEY'RE LOOKING--

you just gotta angle the head =o sort of. Or make the body language follow but that said, yeah it can be hard to tell XD
Three is actually more difficult to me due to the positioning of its eyes. When drawn properly it looks unbalanced XD

I actually have a character with static for eyes, and sometimes when I'm drawing the static it'll end up looking like a pupil,
so I have to redo an ENTIRE SECTION of static which sucks because static takes soooo looonnng to drrawwwww
idk if you get that but it's super annoying for me hh
