Wanted to take a step back from silly stuff this evening to play around with gradients and shapes. Been a while since I've drawn Sawyer too, or at least it feels like it.

I love it! It sort of reminds me of the work of this abstract artist from the 30's who did a lot of paintings that used simple shapes. I can't remember his name though. Anyway, the picture is very nice and well done.

Yep, Art Deco was a huge inspiration with this one, haha. Looked up quite a few different works and artists to get an idea of what to go for with getting that kind of look.

Yeah, I did put it in the Yahoo Group, but apparently they hid the option to send a notification about the file to everyone, which stinks. I do get a summary message every so often that says what files were uploaded in the group that week, but that isn't as handy as getting a message every single time something's uploaded. XD

Good goshers Piggy, this almost looks like some 20's cartoon poster artworks (something like those in Princess and the Frog), really stylish yet simple-looking by it's shapes. You really hatch some nice artwork if given the right tools and direction.
