I've been wanting to draw Lum from Urusei Yatsura for a few weeks (shes so cute and sexy! omg ), but I haven't had time due to my school and work schedule, but I got really inspired on wednesday after my class trip to Duke University to explore their botanical gardens~! Omg it was beautiful! if you are in North Carolina you should definitely visit! I didn't want to leave and I wish I had more time for photos. It was very inspiring! This wasn't so much inspired by the garden I think the energy I got from the garden made me want to draw something I've been putting off for too long.

I had fun coloring Lum XD especially her eyes and eyeshadow! if you look super closely Lum has like light blue eye shadow! He tiger bikini and "horns" were also pretty fun to draw! I want to cosplay Lum so badly! so don't be surprised if I show up to Katsucon in the middle of February like this.

I like the idea of drawing cute but sexy chibis. Everyone is so "chibis can only be cute" but I think they can be lots of things XD. I felt embarrassed coloring the copic version in school because everyone kept calling it porn ;/

I did two colored versions because I'm still learning how to do copic, but I also wanted a nice smooth digital version. The hair looks paler in the digital one because when I was doing the background for the copic one (on photoshop) I gave it the color swatch "moss" (I have copic color swatches downloaded on my computer) which is the same as the copic sketch marker I used. I liked how paler it looked. It gave her a soft feel. I wish the marker was as pale.
