Not to be a dick, but...an upside down cross doesn't mean anything sinister. The first pope, St. Peter, was, in Catholic mythology, crucified upside down, because he couldn't stand the idea of dying the same way as the Christ. I say, "mythology" because it's not scripture, it's just popular folklore about St. Peter.
