I just realized that Christine's hair has partly reverted to it's naturally-curly state, from having been straightened for their Girls' Night Out. Poor girl. Hangover plus loud (it's on an organ, so therefore too loud for her right then) and cheesy song PLUS bad hair morning.
Really, she'd be justified in claiming Sarah's infamous line about the inequity of a situation.

Oooooo, tough one. I'm going to have to vote for the magical soundproofing, or sound"poofing", as I had first read it. I can't imagine what rent would be like with the addition of cork panneling. (even if Erik added it himself, the decor would be so hard to deal with at that point... then again, he does seem to have a flare for room design if his opera lair has anything to say about it. I bet he's a Home Depot guy at heart.
