You cried and begged but it had no effects on the boy in front of you. Tyler, the biggest neighborhood bully, laughed at your despair.

"Oooh, is your little bear friend so important to you?" He inspected the teddy bear in his hands. "How stupid!"

Your eyes watered. Barry was your favourite soft toy. It was your favourite because your beloved grandmother made it for you. You really loved your teddy bear.
The fur of your bear was a beautiful beige. It also had adorable black button eyes. But what you really liked, was the ribbon. A cute red ribbon tied around it's neck and your grandmother even embroidered your name on it.

But some humans tend to be cruel. And Tyler was one of them. He loves to bully the weak and you were an easy prey since you can't defend yourself.

Tyler grinned. "Listen, you little twerp. I'm going to "borrow" your bear." You gasped. "No, please! Don't take Barry away from me!"

"Shut up! You're so annoying!" And with those words, he ran away. With your teddy bear.

When you arrived at home, your parents were shocked. Your usual smiling face was replaced with a sad and gloomy expression and your eyes were red and puffy from all your crying.
You didn't told them that Tyler ran away with your teddy bear. You told them instead that you lost it. At first your parents wanted to scold you but after seeing you in such a state, they were more concerned than angry.
They promised you to buy you a new soft toy but you shaked your head. Asking your grandmother to make you a new one was also impossible. She passed away a few days later after she gave you your teddy bear.

The loss of your beloved grandmother and Barry was the most saddest moments in your childhood.

Your best friend [Best Friend's Name] always tried to cheer you up. Like now. She makes a sour face and huffed: "I wish I was there when he ran away with Barry. I would tackle that Tyler guy to the ground!"
You smiled but only a little. [Best Friend's Name] gives you a worried look. "Well, at least I tried." She thought for a while. "Let's see. What can we do to make you happy... Oh, I know! Let's go to the city!"

"How about we watch a movie? Or do you want to go shopping?" You sighed heavily. "Let's go home, okay?"

"No can do!" [Best Friend's Name] looked around. She pointed at a diner. "Hey, let's go to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza!" You widened your eyes. "But [Best Friend's Name]! That's a kids diner!"

She grabbed your hand. "So what? Even as young adults, we still can go to a place like this!" You started to protest but your friend already dragged you to the diner.

For some reason this diner makes you more depressed than usual. The cheerful atmosphere and all the laughing children... You just wanted to leave as soon as possible.
[Best Friend's Name] glanced at the Show Stage. "Hey..." She nudged you. "Look, (Y/N)! The lead singer, Freddy, seems to be staring at you the whole time!"

She nudged you again but this time with a smug grin on her face. "Maybe he's interested in you!" You looked at the stage and blushed slightly. Indeed. He IS staring at you!

Freddy couldn't take his eyes off you. He never seen such a gloomy person before. Normally he always sees smiling faces around him. So why don't you smile? He really don't know.

Bonnie tapped him on the shoulder. "Boss. What are you looking at?" He followed Freddy's gaze. Then he quirked a brow. "Freddy... If you want to talk to that girl then go ahead. Right, Chica?"

Chica nodded. "Yes. Besides we can hold the position so there's no need to worry."

"Thanks, guys! I'll be right back." Freddy left the stage immediately.

"Uhm, (Y/N)? I totally forgot that I need to do some errands! Dang! I'm leaving now but you can stay here or go home, I don't care! I already paid for our meal, okay? Well, see you later! Bye!"

And with that, [Best Friend's Name] left the diner. It's pointless to stay here so going home is the best option. You walked towards the entrance door when suddenly someone grabbed your wrist.
You turned around and: Surprise! It's Freddy!

"Excuse me. I know you want to go home but I need to talk to you." You eyed him suspiciously. "You're Freddy, right? Sorry but I'm not in the mood for smalltalk."

Freddy tilted his head. "I can see that. You're probably the only person in the diner today who makes a sad face."

You sighed. "I'm usually not like this. It's just... I lost something very important when I was a child..." Suddenly Freddy leaned closer to you. "Oh, really? Interesting... Say, what is your name?"

"Why does he want to know that?", you thought but you told him your name anyway.

"(Y/N), huh? Wait here." He left and you have no idea what's going to happen. After a few minutes, Freddy returned with a soft toy in his hand.
He held it in front of your nose and said: "I'm sure this belongs to you."

No reply. You stand there, frozen in shock and staring at the soft toy. A bear with beige fur, black button eyes and a red ribbon around it's neck. It can't be?!

"B-Barry? Is...Is that really you...?", you whispered, slowly taking the teddy bear from Freddy. You examined it. After you saw your name on the ribbon, you lost it.
You cried and laughed at the same time, hugging your beloved teddy bear like it's going to run away if you let it go. All the other people in the diner gives you weird looks but you could care less.
You're incredibly happy to have your teddy bear back. Freddy chuckled in amusement.

You looked at Freddy with a grateful smile on your face. "Thank you! Thank you so much, that you've found Barry!" Freddy bowed and smiled gently at you. "Don't mention it. Besides..."

He takes your hand and kissed it. "Seeing you smile is the best reward I could ever get. You have a wonderful smile... It fits a beautiful lady like you."
You blushed. Now your face has the same shade of red like Barry's ribbon. There's still something on your mind that you want to ask him.

"So... the boy who took my teddy bear away... You must know him since you found my teddy bear. Do you know what happened to him?"

Freddy smiled mischievously. "Oh, you mean Tyler? Well..." He leaned closer to you, a wicked sparkle in his sky-blue eyes. "I punished him. His days as a bully are over. Forever..."

You gulped. "Uhm, okay? I think I'm going home now." Freddy patted your head. "All right. You know, (Y/N)... I'm seriously starting to like you. A lot. So please come visit me again."

You just nodded your head and left the diner.
