Ever hear of the Bird and the Bee?If not...LISTEN TO THEM.
They are by far one of my favorite bands ever.
Another impulse piece; it has become one of my favorite pieces I have ever done on the pocket etchasketch.
reference used from their Interpreting the masters album cover, and I chucked some birds in there and the band logo from the "Ray guns are not just the future" album cover.
I love Inara George; her voice is so unique and pleasant.
I love the eclectic style of the Bird and the Bee, and I hope you do too.

my love-her voice is so unique. just the singing and clapping was very nice.
HOWEVER letter to japan is my fav out of the two. i like the dynamics of the song. idk if that makes any sense.. D:

Some of their other songs that I really like are their renditions of "I can't go for that" and "rich girl" on their Interpreting the Masters CD and Meteor, and You're a Cad, and their version of "don't stop the music" and "how deep is your love"
but man, I love all of their songs. There is not one song I don't like.

yeah, most of the time when I hear remakes, I tend to like the originals more. But not with the bird and the bee, Inara's voice is just so awesome, and the music itself is just such an original approach to the piece

Wow. You are amazing. It's so creative that you do your artwork like that. I noticed that your etch-a-sketches are all different. Do you do each piece on a separate etch-a-sketch?

I have a few etchasketches, but I end up erasing most all of them, and re-using the etchasketch. Sometimes it is hard to let go of some of my art, but in the end I have a new, blank canvas to work on.

Must be tough erasing all that work but at least you have a photo of them. How long do these usually take you to do?

this one in particular took around 45 minutes, mostly due to the time it took to do the background. I did that one, the Scott Pilgrim one, and most of the 2nd Lady Gaga one yesterday.
Some of them can take a few hours; those are usually the ones that I do on the larger sized etchasketches.
