Description
I have been wanting to do more work on an etch-a-sketch that incorporates more than one unit. The top image was a battle I had with a level 4 pidgey. I drew straight from the image on my SP. The battle music was so nostalgic that in the 2 or so hours it took, I never got bored of listening to it.The bottom portion is a gameboy pocket. It had the best proportions for an etch-a-sketch screen.
The battle screen is stretched because on the SP you have the option to stretch out the pixels for GB/GBC games to fit the screen. It distorts everything, but yet again, it fits the etch-a-sketch screen better, and it is more interesting than seeing 2 bands of black on both sides.
This piece probably took about 3.5 hours.
EDIT: I updated the photo on 1/17/18 with a photo I took with my much nicer camera, and I had a lot of fun adding pixelchus ^_^

Finally a GameBoy that's not running out of battery!
Plus, it's almost indestructible!
Love the idea behind it, I never got how to use these things, had a similar sketch pad with a magnetic stylus instead.

I too love my ectch a sketch and ever sence I was little I have gotten a poket sized one in my stocking each cristmas. As an adult I still suck, but love my toys. You however have an amazing talent. Once your multi board skeliton is done I will have to travel where ever it is to see it displayed. You are a phenomal artist.
