My first thought is "Come on Spike, you mean the world to Twi, you have no fear of ever being turned out by her."

I think it was really strong how Twilight sending Spike away was his biggest fear. They could have gone comical here and said that Rarity married a stallion...or he couldn't have a delicious gem. I love how they actually took a brief moment to show that part of Spike, though it's always hard to see Spike sad. And the part where Twilight comforted him and assured him that she would never send him away, was just perfect. My new favorite Twilight-Spike moment in the entire series so far.
