Tarzel, father to Gazell. A character from a story that you will never meet. He is known only by a crude drawing done by his wife ages ago, and stories passed through the community.
And Gazell himself? He is the light of many of those stories, and also the sad conclusion. All of Tarzel's wishes and tales end with his son.
But, many of his dreams begin there, too.

Okay so I attempted to draw this a little over a year and a half ago, and is basically why I got back into art. I just happened across it again today, in some of my old stuff. It was originally meant to be a picture of Gaz, but that didn't work, so it became his dad. I know it's not very good anatomy-wise, although he is essentially part animal so some bits of him are meant to look strange (like the horns and ear).
Anyway, yeah not the best, but I like it anyway since it helped me get started again, so here it is as a post. ^-^
(P.S., the story these characters are from doesn't have a name yet, I'm still working on that. Sorry!)
