Description
This picture was done to immortalize a scene that will unlikely ever happen: A reformed Giovanni/Sakaki getting challenged to a Pokémon battle by Gold/Ethan/Hibiki.

The idea sprung from Giovanni's Red/Blue/Yellow quote: "Having lost, I cannot face my underlings! Team Rocket is finished forever! I will dedicate my life to the study of Pokémon. Let us meet again someday! Farewell!"

It would've admittedly been cool to battle him in Gold and Silver in this way, but unfortunately, FireRed and LeafGreen changed his quote and intentions. HeartGold and SoulSilver solidified the fact with him having fully intended to return to crime.

As for the picture itself, the main challenging part was...a genuinely smiling Giovanni with absolutely no evil intentions whatsoever. Everything else was relatively easy. Finding this hard enough to imagine, I settled for a "This probably isn't a good time" look. Colors were everywhere and it was easy for me to have uncolored spots if I didn't magnify up to 150%. I am certainly glad that Photoshop has the "Lock Transparent Pixels" option otherwise, adding the shading to the piece would've made my life hell.

In hindsight, it was a silly idea, but those kinds of ideas make me enjoy Pokémon even more.
