Aw, this is adorable~!
And if I could just point out a thing, generally speaking the violin should be parallel to the ground. But you could handwave this as Sherlock being Sherlock and playing in a somewhat lazier position.
(Sorry if I sound picky, I play violin and I get really obsessed about stuff like this.

You dud brilliantly on the violin-- and the hand positions too. Knowing the bow has to be held in a certain way, and the violin itself, and pressing down on the strings... it really puts me off drawing him with one ahh
