the cup was going to fall off the counter so I tried to quickly snatch it up only to smash it back down on the counter. In my haste I threw myself off balance and landed on my wrist so the glass shard was driven deep because my whole wieght was on that arm.

the glass broke. so he caught broken glass with his arm. the glass didn't go deep enough to cut or harm the tendents so he will be fine to draw. which is his carrier so if his tendents were harmed he would have lost his current job.
