I hope Oda draws the three of them together - I would love to see their interactions with each other! Provided Ace gets out of his current predicament--!!I feel a lot more attached to Joz and Marco as of late, due to the latest One Piece stories ~Kumicho and I have written, so I wanted to commemorate them.
Done in Photoshop CS3. I chose to do block coloring this time, which I haven't done in a while. I like the simplicity, and I enjoyed not having to worry about how the brush strokes looked, haha.

EDIT: I fixed Marco and Joz's skin colors, 'cause ~voodoodollmaster pointed out that they were off. Thanks for the tip again!!
.... and yet, somehow, it's still much lighter on my browser than in PS. ... crap, I give up!

marco actually has kind of a dark skin color similar to that big giant guy

Ah, you're right - it's not quite as dark as Joz's, but Marco's skin color is definitely darker than what I have here! I completely overlooked that. Thanks for the tip; I'm gonna go fix that right now!

besides that i absolutely adore this drawing 8D <3333 u did awesomely
im not sure if many people noticed but theres sort of a animation screwup in the episode where shanks and whitebeard meet. the first image they show of joz, they made him completely pale skinned like ace. but then later in the episode it went back to his proper dark color

Haha, I actually hadn't noticed that one, but I did notice a lot of animation errors in that ep - like, Joz's outfit changes slightly two or three times. Those little rectangles at the rim of his breast plate have some sort of magic disappearing act attached to them, perhaps XD
