A few weeks ago I watched the new Pirates film On Stranger Tides, and, while it wasn't a oscar winning piece of cinema, it certainly had its moments. Barbossa and Jack need to have more scenes together!! Their interactions are golden.

Anyway, it got me back in a PotC mood, so I thought I'd share some of the sketches I've been doodling recently. These aren't related to the new movie, but I just went back and watched the first three again, so Will and Liz have been on my mind.

Elizabeth has given me a difficult time - I want to draw her as simply as possible, but her lips are such a distinctive part of her face that it's hard to get away with not outlining them in full. It's a work in progress.
